Quick question... Which direction do I turn the manual hubs for "AUTO" or "LOCK". My hubs have some wear, so the writing is illegible. But, I recently started hearing a slight clicking sound from inside the hub. The Ford dealer said when the hubs are in "LOCK", they tend to make some humming noise when rolling. So, is "AUTO" engaged all the way clockwise? PLEASE help! Thanks!
Jarrett
PS.. any other humming or slow flicking noises from the hubs out there?

The only sound I got was when the hub was going out. It sounded as if I were draging a pipe or something. I put the truck on a lift and could move the tire top to bottom about 1/4". When I took it in they said this was common with over sized tires.

If the listening level is too loud, please inform the driver, so he can promptly pull over, and let you out.

Sorry it took so long, I just read your message.

Went to the garage and checked. AUTO is all the way counter-clockwise.

No strange noises here. Of course, I can't hear much above the three yard-apes.
