I am thinking about buying ( when funds build up) H2 wheels and tires for the X. Has anyone seen this done before or have links to pics of it done? I knew a guy that did it on his 4x4 Dodge and it looked pretty sweet, looked stock in fact. They are 8 lug, so wheel adapters would be needed.

H2 wheels are 8-lug, and so are the X wheels .... BUT they have different bolt circle diameters! |

I just went through this for three months wit my 2002 Excursion. If you look hard you can find wheels in the 8 lug, 8 x 170mm bolt pattern. Even though I "hate" the ghetto wheel look of giant wheels on skinny sidewall street tires, I went with a 20" wheel. But I mounted them on 305/55-R20 Nitto Terra Grappler All Terrain tires. A 20" wheel on the Excursion looks like a 15" for everyone else. If you like I can give you a list of the wheels and tires to fit your truck. EMail me at [email protected].
