G'Day, All.

Wondered if anyone would be able to direct me to the best price on the net for the Ford Repair Manual for 2K X? I found one on ShopDiesel http://www.shopdiesel.com/index.cfm/action/productdetail/product_id/284.htm but wasn't sure if this was the best price.

Thanks in advance.

Dana

I bought the 2-volume factory repair manual from the same place Ford gets them (link below). The price was about half of what a local dealer wanted, and I also bought a 3rd volume of electrical diagrams. Well worth the price, and miles above Chilton or Haynes. All together, I think it was around $230 for the 3 volumes ... but I've already saved several times that amount in dealer service.

Landyot,

Thanks for the lead on the manuals!

I have to agree completely:

They will pay for themselves in a short amount of time.

Glad to have helped you some. BTW, those factory original manuals also sell well on eBay. Some folks I lived with were going to toss out a 1991 F-Series service manual, but I was able to sell it on eBay for $90. So keep your manuals in good shape because you can unload them later.
