You need special tools to do so. They are U-shaped and get insterted into the 4 holes in the corners of the face. I have seen them on ebay.
Has anyone tried constructing them out of clothes hangers or something?
Congrats on the XM purchase. I believe you'll be very happy with it. I've been a subscriber for better than a year, now, and love it. WELL worth the $10/month.

Clothes hangers work great. Slide them in easy. Pull them away from the deck. This will push the clips in towards the deck and let you pull out the deck. If you want I can get you some pics of what it looks like. - Bill

If the listening level is too loud, please inform the driver, so he can promptly pull over, and let you out.

I have also used wire coat hangers on Ford radios in the past. I bent 2 pieces into a "U" shape and they worked very well. Don't buy the tool from Ford. |
