Typically, plastic car badges / emblems have alignment pins for the assembly-line folks to use as a positioning guide, and are held in place with double-back tape. So, I'd almost bet $$$ that there are holes in the sheet metal behind your emblems. I purchased a Ford "Triton V10" emblem to place on my rear door, and if I recall correctly, I had to remove at least one alignment pin before sticking it to a plain surface.

I bought 3 V10 badges two years ago. They had the double-sided tape but no alignment pins.. I just used a ruler to line them up, took off the backing and stuck 'em on.

Did you all buy the emblems at your local Ford dealer or online? If, online, can you provide a URL, Thanks!

We bought ours at www.fordpartsonline.com as well. We could not find them on the site either, e-mailed them and they told us the part number to look up on their site. We did and then we ordered them. Try e-mailing them, they were not that expensive....I am sure alot cheaper than the dealer wouold be!! Good Luck!!
