Does anybody have experience with BDS Suspension 5500 Hydraulic Shocks? I'm happy to say I have LandYot's Radius Rod kit sitting in my garage ready to be put on my X (phase one). But also want to switch out the shocks (phase two). I was leaning toward Edelbrock until I stopped at a local 4WD shop. They swore by these BDS 5500 Series Hydraulic shocks. Said they are much better on the road than gas shocks. They said gas shocks are stiffer (harsher rebound) because they are pressurized, as opposed to the cushier hydraulic shocks. Also, the BDS's have an excellent warranty. (Life time) They are also $50/shock as opposed to $70/shock with the IAS's. Money is not really the issue. I just want my X to ride well. I don't do any off-roading.
