It seems that easy fit aftermarket replacement front door speakers are few and far between. What is everyone out there using in their front doors?? |

I have Inifinity Kappa 5x7 Coaxials (model 572.5) in all six speaker locations. They sound great. The retail for $150 a pair, but you can get them on EBay for aroung $65 - $70 plus shipping per pair. What out for the shipping it varies. One guy will charge you $65 + $20 shipping and another will charge $55 + $30 shipping. I know they both equal $85, what I am trying to say is don't go for the lowest selling price, add in the shipping to see who has the lowest final price.

I put in the MA Audio 2057 5x7 Speakers 39.99 pair I've put an amp at 250w to each and they sound great. They will take the listed power and then some. I've had mine for two years and love them. They also work very well on a stock system, as I have installed them into many other cars/trucks with great results.- Bill

I forget which size I installed, but I replaced all 6 speakers with the same size/model of Polk Audio. It was pretty easy... |

Hey guys,
I am wanting to replace the factory Excursion speakers and was wondering if the 572.5CF Infinities will drop in all six locations without any problems? Did you notice a big improvement in the sound? Any information is appreciated.
Thanks,
Roger Alexander |

I placed 220 watt Kenwood KFC_X688C speakers in all six and added a tub sub. Sounds great. ALso insulated doors and panels with hush mat to avoid resonating the plastic door panels. Also cuts some road noise. Kenwoods are fairly reasonable. Sub was about a $300 addition installed. |
