I have an 04 PSD X....Yesterday I came up along side of another 04 PSD X at the stop light...OH YEAH!, now I am going to test my new predator module...We kept getting caught by the same traffic lights...an each time off the line he smoked me...I followed him into the gas station to asked what he had done to his X...He had the same module as I had, except he told me that the X's have an electronic torque convertor, and that lock-up at 1100 - 1200 rpm's...he had hie reprogramed to lock-up at 1800 rpm's,,,He would not tell me where or what he did...The holeshot was incredible, he was even spining the tires...better than a gasser...Has anyone ever heard of this????

I don't know how he did it, but that's not a new trick. Hot rodders commonly go for "high stall" converters in their toys.

I had a Camaro years ago that I install a B & M 2500 rpm stall speed converter in, but that involved pulling the trany... Is it true that The X's Have an electronic touque converter?

It is fairly easy to install your own torque converter lockup switch at least on the 7.3's, I don't know how you would do it on a 6.0 though.

Agreed,
Even stock, the X can smoke the rear wheels after building a little turbo pressure.
