While attaching a cargo bag to my roof rack, I noticed a small quarter-sized patch of rust causing my paint to bubble up on the roof. It's not in a spot that would collect water or anything. Any suggestions for repair or prevention?

I have a small patch on the top rear as well and ive ground it down , primed, painted and it bubbled again so I ended up just putting a blob of good old fashiond grease on it and its been fine since.

I found one last week as well. About the size of a pencil eraser, above the driver side rear door. Got to get on it before it grows.

So What's the method? Grind it down, prime - dry, paint - dry, put grease on it? What does the grease do to inhibit the rust? -Bucksfan. |
