I found that all cargo bags need the straps to attach from all four sides. Ford doesn't make this easy if you need to attach a nylon strap with buckle on the sides. I ran the front and back straps under and around the sliding bars that run east-west across the top. I then attached 3/16 climber's rings to the small screw-in eyelets that are in the roof rack. Two per side.

This made it easy to run the nylon straps through the hooks and connect the buckles to the sides of the bag.

Also, Tie off the loose ends of the straps. Otherwise it'll sound like its raining hail on your roof when you get up to speed.
