I just have to throw out some thanks to Birdman....I will explain. Scott (Birdman) an dI had been emailing about a set of V code springs that he was taking off his X to step up into a little something bigger (see picture of his truck). I offered to buy them and we worked out a deal for the Springs and shocks. Scott lives in the greater Baltimore area and I live in Slower Lower Delaware (no Maryland and Delaware are not the same state). He met me half way, which involved him having to cross the Chesapeake Bay Bridge to deliver the items to the arranged meeting area. I estimate it took him at least an hour and 15 minutes to get there. We met and he showed me all the modifications that he has made to his rig, including Landyot's nifty creation (Landyot you will be hearing from me soon). Our kids played around and he gave me some pointers on my install and even offered to set up a crew to help me out with it. I was blown away with how generous the Birdman was with his time and experience, especially to a total stranger. You are a credit to this site and we are lucky to have you as a moderator!!!! Thank you again Scott!!!! |

Monsta - You don't have to go that far. One of my kits is in Hawaii ... I just haven't researched it to tell you which island. BTW, as a matter of privacy, I cannot divulge who that person is. Sorry ... so close, yet so far. |

Landyot, You are a class act!
You could get a hold of the person with your Radius Rods & ask them if they would like to meet a fellow excursion owner. Worst they could say is no.

Thank you, Dennis. I could contact that person, but I'd rather not intrude and/or impose. What if it's too much trouble for him/her, and he/she would like to decline? If that person sees these posts, then he/she has the ability, AND CHOICE to contact Monsta ... or not. |
