I have looked all over the place trying to find a non slip tray that sits on top of the center console and so far have not found a thing. I saw that the new GM trucks have a rubber mat on the lid and it also has a half to one inch lip around the edges. This is a great place to put your digital camera or other things you might want on a trip. The stock lid is too slick and my camera slides off every time. I wish someone would make one out of semi-hard rubber with a lip at the front end to go in the clip. Would be real nice.... Has anyone seen or made anything that would work??

Mike...
I too have been jumping to grab things I've placed there on the first turn I took....
or the first hard press of the go pedal
I got a small brown "hump" container for a car that I sat in FRONT of the console...
granted, it's on the floor, but at least gives me somewhere to place the extra stuff !

Go to walmart and buy a rubber mesh type place mat.
Cut it to shape.
Cost? $1.29

That's what I did... just bought some of that non-slip shelf-liner and cut it to shape. It works well for me.
