I have noticd a lot of you have "stripped"the Excursions emblems on the fenders and rear cargo door with acetone. I like the look and it would make for a splendid project for me in"Monster Driveway" (Monster garage without the garage as my wife calls it)
Any body with any tips on removing the emblems without causing me a trip to Ford to buy replacements after I break them trying to get them off, would be appreciated.
Sorry for all the posts tonight and misc ramblings, but wife is pregnant and extremely bitchy so I am barricaded in my den drinking beer.............

Acetone is easy. First thing is the badges stay ON the truck. Then you must tape around the badge to keep the black from running over the paint and staining it. Then you use the acetone with a sponge and a toothbrush and watch the black disapear.

If you go with the lumi logos the clear cover will come off. Easy fix, Take some clear silicone and make a sandwich out of it. I went through two of them with my sound system and now this fix has lasted for two years and counting.
