Anyone know what the stock 16x7 alloy wheel backspacing is? I am considering AR23 wheels and they are 4 1/2"
I am running 305/70-16 tires and in a lock to lock turn I have about 3/4" clearence from the back edge of tire to the I beam(truck is 2WD) Am I correct in assuming that if the factory rims have less backspacing, the new wheel having more will result in more I beam clearence as desribed above, thus allowing the wheel to sit out side the wheel well a bit further? BTW, the truck does have a Fabtech 4" lift.

Thanks guys

Scott
