I see in my maintenance schedule that the cabin filter is due to be changed (if my 01 X Limited has one). Where is this filter? Is it hard to get to to change? How much is the filter?

Thanx.

Mine is also an '01 Ltd 2WD, and there is no cabin filter. And welcome to the forum!

Researched the 03 and 04 docs last night and didn't fine any reference to the cabin filter. Another backward way to find out if you have a cabin filter would be call the Ford parts dept and ask for a quote on the cabin filter for a 200X Excursion. This will force then to tell you if you have one or not. Just an idea.

Cheers

Don't think excursion has one.
