Can someone please explain to me how to gain access to the rear lift gate door lock actuator? As with everyone else, my Ex has developed locking/ unlocking problems. By the way, I am a new member!

Welcome to the forum!

Getting to the lift gate actuators is a breeze compared to the other 4 doors. Simply unscrew the interior handle in the center-bottom of the lift gate, then carefully pry/pull the lower plastic interior panel off of the gate. BE CAREFUL not to lose any metal clips that may come off with the panel. I'm sure they're a dime-a-dozen at the dealer, but they're a PITA to try and find in the grass or gravel.

Thanks! It looks like I'll be doing this very soon
