Ditched my factory chrome side steps and went back to OEM running board. Got them off Ebay for a song. I installed them but can't seem to find where the oval plug interfaces. Anyone know the location? The harness with the receptacle is about 15" long and I spent a good while poking around to no avail. What gives?
the truck is an XLT and came with the plain jane black boards. Could it be there is no factory plug in?

Thanks
Scott

Your driver's side plug, if it exists, runs down the back side of the inner fender well. Maybe the plug got tucked up there.

The passenger side is up & behind the rear passenger seat door area. (If equipped)
