We had a really, REALLY cold snap last week and my sensors kept going off as soon as I put it in reverse....
Tried wiping the sensors off, but must have had frozen "stuff" on them....

Had to do it the old fashioned way for a day or two --- actually LOOKING instead of listening !

Matt, I have the same problem for a while now.
All of a sudden the light came on showing the dash button in the off setting.

Over time, it seemed to want to work with a quick weak beep, then it was back to just the off position.

I went by the ford dealer to buy a dash switch figuring it was faulty. No luck.....not the problem.

I need to get it in under warranty and let them go at it. Saw another post where they had to replace some type of control box to fix it and it was behaving the same way as mine.

I just can't see to part with it long enough to get it fixed ! Dang!

I was thinking of getting one of those license plate frames that have similar sensors, then mount it on the front ... just to augment the rear system.
