Just had Hellwig anti-sway bar, Monroe reflex shocks and the famous "Landyot Radius Rods" Installed. For those of you who want a 200% improvement in ride quality, I highly reccomend shocks(your choice), the bar and the rods. It so nice to hit a pothole and not rattle around in the $^(*&($(^&%) thing!

Awww, shucks. I ain't no genius. You were the smart one to have made those improvements to your X. And if you made all three changes in one fell swoop (shocks, swaybar & radius-rods), it's no small wonder that you felt such a huge improvement. Like many of the other X owners here, I made the improvements one at a time. First, I replaced the shocks ... ho-hum improvement. Second, I added the Hellwig anti-swaybar ... good improvememnt, but not quite there yet. Then I built my first set of radius-rods .... BINGO ... the whole package then worked great.

The radius-rods are not a new concept. I've had a similar prodeuct on a 1978 Toyota Landcruiser over 25 years ago. I made mine only because I could not find anything else that worked for the Mighty-X without sacrificing ground clearance.

So now that the lift is on, I guess my next step is the hellwig and radius rods.
Can someone please post some pics of what they look like, and any info you have on price and installation tips?

Thanks.

BTW;
Just installed the Sony Dreamsystem II last night.
Kids now have 9" drop down screen with DVD and choice of Xbox or Gamecube...all while using wireless headphones.
If you guys have kids, and you use your truck for trips, I cant even tell you how much this will improve your sanity! (ie; the kids shut up when in the car!!!)

Joe - There are some photos in my gallery. Click on my username to gain access. Also, while you're clicking on my username, drop me an e-mail and I'll reply with a R-Rod info-pack.

PS - I won't be building any more until just after Christmas, so there's a little wait for them.

Just purchased a 01' Ex PSD 4x4 a couple of months ago. Like the truck need to improve the ride though. I have watching this site for a while now. Thought I would jump in the frye.
