My friend is considering buying an 01 7.3L X . He has asked me for advice on lifting the vehicle and I have no clue since my lifted X is a 2WD. What is the easiest and most effective way of bringing it up two inches to accomidate larger tires? I have read about different code springs and spring packs. Anyone who wants to post thier thoughts I would certainly appreciate it. My bud has big plans for this thing and is asking all kinds of questions about mods, etc., so if there are must have upgrades you diesel guys do, please pass it along. I sure like spending other peoples money!

I'd say an Edge mini spring pack.

A set of V codes will benny about 1.5-2" and X codes will get you that 2" but much more time consuming than popping in the mini spring pack.
