Anybody have any experience with or suggestions for a front mounted hitch receiver? I'd like to try one of those winches that just slide into the receiver, but the Drawtite model requires removal of the bumper for installation and permanant removal of the fog lights.

Is removing the front bumper a big deal? Can I do it myself? Are there any other options besides
Drawtite so I can keep my lights?

Removing the bumper safely takes two people to knock out as it's abit heavy front wise and the ears can scratch the painted fenders.

As far as a fully mounted winch behind the bumper, that's one I have not tackled as of yet.

I have a front receiver built into the bumper which is used for jockeying trailers around.
