2002 Ford Excursion Limited Ultimate, 2 Wheel Drive, One Owner, Excellent Condition - $18,400
Truck is in Benicia, California (30 miles from San Francisco, 60 miles from Sacramento)
Original owner. Top-of-the-line Excursion with 69,000 easy highway miles. No accidents. No problems.
Black exterior with Arizona Beige trim and tan leather interior.
5.4 liter V-8 engine provides good gas mileage with 4.10 axle ratio for good acceleration.
2 wheel drive provides improved gas mileage and superior handling through turns.
Power-steering, power-brakes, 4 wheel anti-lock disc brakes, automatic climate control, rear air conditioning, dual power seats, heated seats, driver’s seat memory, tilt steering, power adjustable gas and brake pedals, reverse sensing system, anti-theft system, am-fm with 6 disc cd, factory dvd entertainment system, standard roof rack, Thule roof rack, premium aluminum wheels, dual exhaust and K&N air intake system for improved gas mileage.
Oil changed every 3,000 to 4,000 miles (every 4 to 5 weeks). Transmission service at 50,000 miles, new tires at 63,000 miles (Pirelli Scorpions, “E” load rating), rotors turned at 50,000 miles.

Taking the Excursion off the market.......
I had too many vehicles, and the Excursion was the logical one to go, but not at the low prices that I was being offered locally (but what do I expect with gas prices in the $2.30 range??).
So, I sold my Dodge Stealth instead. Sold within a few days of being listed with the first person coming to see the car offering me the full asking price....
So my Excursion brothers and sisters it looks like I'll be with you forever. Already have contacted Landyot for the Radius Rods (he was kind enough to put me back on the list), and am looking forward to getting the Excursion fully dialed in.
Yeah, it's not as much fun to slide through a turn as the Stealth, but it sure offers great functionability!
Best of luck to bjeepin2 and others selling their Excursions. Now that gas prices are dropping it should be easier... |
