I broke my little green clip while removing the handle rod...Anyone know where I can get one? I drove up to the dealer but they're closed already! |

Guys...GO to the Ford Dealer to buy your actuators. I bought 2 off eBay from Dr. Autoparts and they lasted all of 2 months. They sound like crap too! I purchased some from the dealer today and they work perfect!
I have performed this operation twice now and have a tip for getting the awful green clip off that connects your door handle to the locking mechanism. I took a small flathead bit from a cordless drill and taped it to my finger kind of in a L shape. I was then able to get behind the thing and pry it open very easily. My wife called it the CLAW! Without such a device you’ll end up with blood blisters and less hair!

Did you get discounted at the dealer for the actuators?
