Hello all I have decided to put a 4 in procomp lift on the ex
My Question is how big of a tire will fit on the stock rims?
Looking to do 35's or 36's
I dont know if they will work though!
Thanks in advance Billy

I think 305's or 315's would do,keeping em balanced on stock wheels could be a challenge.
Personally I'd put 35's on 16x8's and not sweat a thing
Another excursion in DFW,well it looks like we'll hafta meet up sometime to BS,I'm almost thinking about corraling up a bunch of X's for a meet/gathering

Welcome Jicki,
315's will work on either rim. People state the 305's and 315's wear funny on a 7in rim but if you moniter the tire pressure I think you will be fine.
Enjoy the site and learn from us all!!!

What I am saying is that Procomp has one kit which equals a 4 inch lift on the SD and a 6 inch lift on your X.
They also offer a 2 inch kit for the SD which equals a 4 inch lift on your X.
I have the 6 inch X lift (same as the 4 inch SD lift) and im fitted with 17X9 with 35/12.50/17 tires.
I hope that helps.

Joe, I own a 4wd company and have never heard these figures before. I really have no clue what you're talking about... despite 6 years in the 4wd business with ProComp (ProCrap) experience.
Where are you getting these figures that a Superduty lift on an Excursion will be 2" higher than advertised?
