I think it also looks a little too "squatty" ... not enough height to it. |

thats going to be an Ex replacment? did I read that right? Ford is going to screw this up again arent they? I love the Ex and I know that some idiot is up there scapping the project! thats what I hate about them, they should bring back the Bronco on the 150 or 250 platform, I dont enve care wich one they use, that would be sweet, and easy to do. :shake
It really is all about size!!!!!! |

Looks like a soccer mom vehicle.
I just can't believe that there aren't enough customers who want a heavy duty tow vehicle that can be a people hauler too to justify keeping the Excursion around.
Although I don't like the styling of the Expedition as much as the X, I wouldn't mind if they at least made a 3/4 or 1 ton version to replace the X.

Uh, in the article I do believe they refer to this new vehicle as a long version of the EXPEDITION, not the Excursion. "but here is the first picture of Ford's extended Expedition" WHEW!!

I'll be surprised if Ford stops make the X. The X has loyal drives (us) and it also does really well in the emergency services (fire, police, border control etc). The only other truck that plays in that market is the Suburban. |
