Hi, this is my first time posting and will be posting more of my Excursion later on. Anyway My excursion is 2000 limited and I would like to know if the 03-04 limited exterior "chrome inserts" are taped on or is it included with lower body moldings. I have went to a few ford parts site and they all have me stump becasue all of them has no mention of the "chrome inserts" on the Limited cladding. does anyone know if there is a part number to these "chome inserts"? It does apper to be taped on but I can't really tell. thanks for the help.

I've actually considered putting some paint or tape over mine !
or removing them since I like the all black...
but other priorities have kept me from going there yet...
let me know what you find

And how hard was it to take them off ?

I have a friend that removed his rocker panel moldings and said that it was easy since they are held on by double sided tape, but he said that the rear one behind the rear tire had holes and that you need to get the color matched guards from ford or have the holes filled and painted, I was going ot folow suit but opted to stay with the molding I have. let us know.
It really is all about size!!!!!! |
