I decided yesterday to go ahead and try painting the (3) plastic grill inserts. I didn't like the grey, so now they're all glossy black. And yes, it looks dang good!! :wink: This was my second easiest mod so far. It takes a little patience because you are working with plastic and paint, but anybody can do this one and it doesn't cost much. Just F.Y.I., the side pieces come out the front of the grill housing and the center pops off the back-side. Use a small screwdriver and be CAREFUL! :O :lol: I left the FORD emblem in the center and taped it up before painting. It has nuts on the back that come off, but the threads of the bolt were wedged in the flimsy plastic and it looked and felt like it would break easily if I tried to force it, so I left it alone. Other than that, give yourself some time between coats of paint and a little drying time and it will come out lookin good! :wink:
