Hi all,
I've been talking with Ken about the radius rods and he has informed me that he's not to sure the effectiveness on a lifted X over 4.5 inches. My X is lifted by a 6" spring in the front and a 4" block along with the factory 2" block in the rear. The rear are stock springs.
Anyone have their X lifted like mine and have the radius rods installed that Ken possibly doesn't remember? If your reading this Ken, I don't doubt your knowledge, but posibly someone installed your rods on a rig like mine and had decent results. I would really like to get a set of these and the possibility that I may not be able to use them is making me bummed.
Please chime in if you have any feedback.

hi
do not have as much lift but close , i am about 4 inches all way around, put 3 inch rears in back with factory 2 inch, both blocks had 3 degree abgles,
my biggest thing is vibration above 65 MPH which is amplified with the radius rods, i can remove or loosen them and vibration nearly gone. definetly not the fault of the rod, i just need to angle shim the rear more with shims, you may need to do so also,
seems only the X's have this problem not the trucks as my local 4x4 shop informs me...
on most trucks you need you need to keep the same amount of degree between the transfere case pinion and rear pinion, where onthe X's you need more pinion angle ( up ) on the rear only, not sure why,
only other thing i had to do with my rods were to weld them to rear housing, no matter how tight i made them on axle they would stilll slip a little, casuing one bushing to squash more then the other, since welded no more moving, just if you plan on more lift will need to cut welds and reweld at ne angle
othe rthen that these things have made my truck much more stable, although i added the helwig at same time so had nothing to compare it to
