Ford literature says the leather in the Eddie Bauer and Limited are "premium".

This differs from the XLT leather which only says leather.

Has anybody had the chance to compare the two or be able to comment on the quality of XLT leather?

With so few X's (especially XLT's) on the dealer lots, it's very difficult to compare.

I can't see if XLT is sewn in on the front seatbacks as Limited is on the seatbacks.

Not much difference as I can see as far as XLT leather vs EB/Limited.

I really like the dual tone leather seats in EB's they are sweet

I have a 2005 limited and had a 2000 limited. The quality of the seat in general, the amount of padding, particularly on the seat areaof the captains chairs seems less in the 2005, compared to the 2000.

The leather seems stiffer on the 2005 . I would be suprised if there is a substantial difference in the same model year.

Maybe the leather is being tucked alot tighter in the new models?
