I am having to replace the accursed left side cab mount under my feet. I have stands so I can jack it up, place stands on body and then let down to let the frame separate slightly...but it is not much. I assume lower bushing is not too hard to take out but I have not tried it before. Don't have a clue on the top one. And also, anyone the torque ratings on these body mount bolts? All input is greatly appreciated.

Thanks
David

David here's is the common procedure to replace the body mounts provided to me;

Quote:
The body bolts come down from inside the vehicle, you need to pull up the carpet to get to 10 of them, there is 2 more up by the radiator that mount differently with nuts on the top of the mount that should be tightened. There are round or oval black rubber plugs covering the holes in the floor. The Body Mount Bolts torque to 60 lb ft. I use a impact gun and sock them down a lot tighter than that with no problems.

Maybe this will help some

If it's snug in between the frame and body it might take a couple shots of WD40 or silicone spray to loosen it up some then pop it out with a mallet and block of wood?

I haven't had to do this but it's what I'd try personally first
