OK then the Imputs should work then... Now I wonder why they aren't... let me see what I can dig up as far as a schematic on the sound system, as well as the stock VCP/LCD system.. as now, I WANT to find the fix for this... as with the stock set-up, you should get sound of the PS2 hooked thru the AV Imputs. I will deffinately let you know what I come up with on the required info if any... Gonna pull out all the "stops" on this one!

Just to make sure I was looking at everything correctly, I went out and played with the system some more. There is an itty bitty red light that comes on when the IR outputs are doing their thing. The only time the red light is on is when the VCP is the selected function.

Why would they build an IR system and restrict its usage to only the VCP? It seems perfectly logical that sometimes the passengers in the rear will want to listen to the radio/aux inputs when the driver wants to hear nothing more than the whine of the turbofan!
