Nah....
The Premium car wash down the street has Tuesday and Wednesday specials -
outside only for $5

I haven't washed a car or X in 2 or 6 years

course with all the new construction in this new subdivision....
it does need it more often !!!
so it hides in the garage when it can

Hey guys...recent 2001 limited 7.3 X-owner here, fairly new to the forum, but have done some mods to mine so far.

wondering about the ease of remove and install of one of those chrome pickup grilles.

Will they fit perfectly onto an X. from an F250 superduty?

Where's the best, cheapest place to get one besides waiting for one to pop up on Ebay? And do the knock-offs have any measure of quality and durablility?

Thanks

Welcome to the Excursion forums there Bill and congrats on the new rig

The grilles between the 99-2004 SuperDuty/Excursion trucks is easy as removing the top 4 screws and 4 retainer clips on the bottom which can be released with a flat blade screwdriver.

Both grille designs straight interchange no problem.

I can not vouch for the aftermarket units but will assume based on what I've seen on Ebay they fit right up and for the price I think it's right on

A fellow Excursion friend up in Keller has a grille very similar to the one pictured below on his X and it is indeed sweet, all one piece unit,I think the seller was in Carrolton.
