I saw this inverter online and was curious what everyone thinks about it:
http://www.overstock.com/cgi-bin/d2.cgi?page=proframe&prod_id=1182486#
I want to mount it under the 2nd row seats and run the outlet, switch part to mount on the back of the center counsel between the front two seats. I would like to replace the rear radio controls since I'm ditching the stock system. I have a dvd player up front with two screens (one front, one back) that I would like to use with an xbox on long trips. This inverter could supply power and the rca jacks all in one spot. I'm assuming I could then wire the RCA jacks into my current setup with an A/V switch. Any comments?

I don't get real in depth with inverters for small power uses like a gamecube,Home DVD player, etc so i'll give a thumbs up for the one you linked up
I keep one stored in the bottle jack compartment along with a small air compressor.

Remember: any inverter or power converter generates some amount of heat; and heat will destroy electrical components.
To keep it from frying, mount it on a piece of aluminum with a larger footprint for heat disipation (not directly on carpeting) and place it somewhere where there is air flow across it.

A little one like that will work great for what you are using it for. I've used a 300w one for the PS2 for years. I've also ran a blender off it as well.
