I know this subject has probably been beaten to death, but after a few searches, I couldn't find enough info. Does anyone have an aftermarket DVD system (overhead) installed? Does it match the factory look? I've been looking at the headliner in the back and can't seem to figure out how one would be viewable to the 2nd row seats. Anyone got any pics of their systems?

Thanks in advance!

I have an AUDIOVOX that looks and works great. The unit looks like it came with the truck. I will try to post pictures next Monday. BTW the 3rd seat can see it fine. We also have wireless head phones so the kids can watch a movie and we can have the radio on or even better yet peace and quite.

Owned a '00 Ex and installed an aftermarket unit (Sony) and it looked factory (color matched) and like Got8kids said, the screen (8 inch screen) was viewable from the 3rd row w/o any problems

sounds goofy but the portable audiovox has worked out great. We have one daughter (4 going on 30) and for her it works.

What nice is:
Cost - 299.
portable - can go in the hotels, etc.. on road trips
adaptable - monitor can be mounted remotely from unit (back of headrest, etc..), additional monitors can be added ( i believe a total of three).
at the cost of it - you can go through nearly 4 or so of them for the cost of an installed unit.

any way it has worked fine for over 2yrs now. the factory dvd in the '04 150has already gone down. whole unit being replaced (3 wk leadtime). so the portable is nice in that aspect as well (no vehicle down time for repairs or replacements).
