Roger,
I have a Rockford amp and Rockford 12 inch sub enclosure (two subs).... Box can be aimed at back doors or the roof, it also has quick disconnects like David in case I need the storage room (even with the box I can still load up the gear for the family). Amp is mounted under the 3rd row seat, kids like it there as they watch the lights flash to the beat
2003 Xcursion EB 6.0 diesel, AFE Stage 1 instake, AutoMeter Phantom Boost, EGT & Trans guages, Leveling Kit, BFGoodrich 315x75x16 on Weld Sidewinders, Eclipse radio & CD changer, Rockford amp & 12' subs, XM radio, 10.5 Mobile DVD video system |

On the subs I would look no further than JL Audio. If the depth is pretty shallow you could use 10W3 , or for a bit more power you could use the 10W6v2 One will probably be plently if you couple it to a class D Bass Amp like th JL 500/1 or JL250/1 ( if you use the 10w3)
I personally do not like to use multi-chanell amps for the Subs. If you dont like the JL audio, Rockford Fosgate Power series is pretty good as well BUT THEY RUN HOT. Alpine V12 is ok too but I do not like them as much as the other two., |
