Wondering what parts I need for a 4" lift on a 2000 2wd v8 excursion? Is it necessary to install new track bar relocating brackets, sway bar end links, new rubber bump stops, drop pitman arm, radius arm drop brackets, etc. I'm new to this and to be honest, I dont know what some of these parts are yet. Researching on internet, Ive seen these parts on other lifts and dont know if they or other parts apply here. For the actual lift, I,m thinking of 4" tapered lift blocks off a f350 4wd superduty on rear and coil springs off an 05 f350 4wd for front only because I can pick them up rather inexpensively. I did measure the coil springs and they are the same width and approx. 4" taller as the stock springs on the excursion now. Does this sound at all possible to anyone or do I just need to save my pennies and buy a 4" fabtech lift. Thanks, Rusty.
