Hi all,

I know in the past there have been some discussions posted about after market grills and oem chrome griils installed on our excursions. I found a 2005 grill/ headlight set off an F-250 SD and was wondering if anyone knew if that set-up would work on a 2000 Ford Excursion 7.3L PSD. Thanks in advance for your replies

To upgrade to a 2005 grille you'll need the header panel for the bottom of the grille to attach to,the 2005 grille is too tall for the 99-2004 bumper so you'll need the 2005 grille assembly.

The 2005 headlights I believe will bolt up to the 99-2004 headlight buckets but not 100% positive.

For the new headlights you'll need the upgraded headlight pigtails.

Friend of mine down in Beaumont upgraded his front end to the 2005 and his truck is a 99,here's a PHOTO of the completed work

It can be done for sure but it's just a little work.
