Well got the guages run today, (I will have to remember to update my sig) with a fair amount of swearing. When I went to run the wires through the firewall, I had to push the firewall plug out, only problem was a layer of insulation on the engine compartment side of the firewall. Between that and the 3/4" thick piece that was covering the firewall plug, I don't see how you can hear the engine at all in the truck. Finally had everything run and went to put the guage pod over the mirror. Only one minor problem, the plastic wire guide for the mirror electronics does not fit in the groove up the back of the pod. Found this out after trying to put it up three times before the adhesive wore out, then two more times with addtional adhesive on it. Ended up pulling the plastic cover off the wires and it went on with-out a problem. Now if I can just figure out why my boost gauge reads 5psi when the truck is turned off I will be set. Next time it is a a-pillar pod or nothing.

The hellwig and rear shock install was better yesterday, except for getting the boots over the shocks. That was a project and a half. All that is left is the exhaust and break controller. Both to be done when my wife and kids return from their Flordia trip in two weeks.
