(My first post)
I have everything wired up, but I need to switch the hot wire so I only have power when the key is on.
Also, I need to tap into another convenient location for my tranny gage light.
Could you help me locate the places to tap into?
Thanks, Oz.
I modified the mount for my compressor, but that will be another entry. |

Thanks, Johnboy
Well, it's a gasser, 6.8, 10 cylinder, limited 4x4, auto tranny with O.D., bought it used, not sure what the tranny is. Looking at the paperwork, I see it is a 2001.
I am wiring up my accessories, air pump, tranny gage light ,so I need to tap into the appropriate power supply.
With my "Murphy's law' luck, I'll burn up the wiring loom if I just tap into a multi-colored wire somewhere.
We bought this Ex. about 3 month's ago, took it on a 3,700 mile trip pulling a 10,000# trailer and just love it. Great vehicle. My wife and I would comment on how it pulled the trailer so well. It got some getting used to listening to the V-10 sound, but we came to love to hear it under load.
We kept patting the dash.
Thanks, for your help.
