I found two of my shocks had the seals blow out and were leaking, so I replaced them with 4 Mono Max's, my mechanic marked them up 45%, which is better than my 70% mark up, so I can't complain too much.
(Assuming he paid $65.00 each for them.)

Any one have good, bad reports on them, they look to me like very good ones, felt firm driving it home, can't wait to see how they are on my upcoming trip to Colorado.
I have added rear sway bar, and shocks since last trip.

Thanks for the help.

I know the stock shocks can start having problems with leaking, bouncing, mounts, etc.after so many miles or hard driving

The Monroe Reflex shocks have been known to be of better than stock quality with an appealing price

I run the Monroe Reflex's on my truck ('01 F350 Superduty Crew Cab Lariat) and I really like them. I tow both my 5th wheel camper and an equipment trailer with a 9k lb skidsteer on it alot. I had the ProComps on before that and they rode like crap and are junk in my opinion (didn't last 20,000 miles).

Today I ordered 9000x shocks for my X. Called and reviewed the options with Jason? At Sams Off Road, thank you CHP for the referral. Also mentioned that I had found out about them on this forum. I was interested in the RSX as they were $70+ cheaper and I do not think that I would really use the adjustability of the 9000x. I was told that the design of the 9000x would yield a much smoother ride and better control. This is what I am after, as I will only use the 4x4 for snow and fire roads to go mountain biking. I now prefer to try to break my titanium MTB and not my ride. Will post with ease of installation and what is the final setting for best ride.

Adjustment wise in non-tow the setting stays in 3 front 4 rear and when we tow it goes 5/6.

The only downside to the Ranchos is that they aren't very resistant to wintery salty roads,we have a little bit of rust but I find it acceptable for the results we get performance wise.

I have a more intolerant keester and require 1 for non towing situation....
and since my towing is limited weights thus far only about 3 or 4 when towing...
