If you want a simple Mod, that`s cheap and greatly inproves the handling, change the stock rubber front swaybar bushings to Polyurethane( Energy Suspension). It takes less than a half an hour and what a diff. Adding the rear swaybar helped big time, but still wanted to act like a whale on corners and rough roads. The new front bushings tighten everthing up. Made the swaybar do what it was supposed to do. Part #4.5180G from AutoZone, about $19.99. might find it cheaper somewhere else , don`t know. Also, take it easy on the cheesy spring clips that Ford uses, they are easy to strip. I threw mine away and use some grade5 3/8`s, 1-1/2" long with new washers and nylock nuts.

Way to go Mongo,

It's about time you did some Mods! I have a lot of picture's of all the Mods I've done but I broke or shorted out my usb port in the PC. Gotta get a doc to fix my portal! I also turned the pixels done alot this time! TV is in a sweeeetttt!! White face gauge's are in as is the dual gauge pod w/ white Phatom auto meter gauges. I also got stainless covers for the tow hooks. As soon as I get the usb port fixed I'll send them.

Hold-on-there bob-a-loue, that was only one mod in 1/2 hour. Sat & Sun 14 hours of wiring of a power dist.center, 200w amp alt, a Yellow top Optima, the new fogs in the APC`s, the factory fogs in the bumper, the 100w spots on the brush guard, remote jumper plugs so I don`t have to open the hood,8 relays, 6 custom switchs in the dash, lots of room under the dash for other toys, and now I think I found the side marker lights that I want to use to be wired into the turn signals. the Mod Monsta was asking about awhile back. They are a strip of LED`s 1/4" thick,5" long, and 1" high that would fit perfect under the X badges. They stick on with 3M tape. What about the roof lights. I want to see how big of a PITA that job is. I`m waiting to see your pic`s on that one. I don`t have a camera yet, I`m working on it, soon We need more smile`s

You did get them in( roof lights) nice job, they look great! OK the low down, how much for parts, how big of a pain, how long( not getting personal ). And where did you get your pod. Been thinking about doing it and going to some real gauges after I read that the stock ones are glorified idiot gauges.

OK, The lights cost me about $50 bucks for the (5) lights (3) bags of nuts(4 in each bag) and 1 wiring harness! They are a PITA! ! Tough to drill holes up there. Took me about 5 hours total! If you are serious about doing it let me know, I have the part #'s. The dual gauge pod I got from summit $45.00 i think. The gauge's I ordered from Auto Zone (wifey is Mgr there). Took about 1 1/2 hours to do this mod. The lights will not be as bad since I now know how to and could answer a lot of questions before they arise. Went to the dealer on a sunday and got the measurments from a f-250, then made temp plates of the lights and marked the roof w/ a pencil and taped the temp plate to the roof. Like I said the toughest part was drilling the holes up there in no where land. Wiring harness is a piece of cake.

My next mods are new tires(Bridgestone dueller AT revo 285/75/16) and a new grill!!
My wish list is a new battery and a 200 amp alt. and a set of driving lights.
