As for a squeek noise the front leaf springs have plastic bushings on both ends between the leafs that wear out and then are very noisy on umps. Ford has a revised kit that replaced the existing bushings and adds a second thicker stacked bushing on top to extend the life of the bushings. Hope this helps someone!

Could this be the cause wandering issue of the "X"?
for me i have narrowed it down to the bad steering gearbox or bad leaf spring bushing.

thanks

nope the bushings do nothing more than seperate the leafs to prevent them from contacting eachother at the tips.
