I installed a 450c Viair compressor under the hood, drivers side, had to remove the bracket that held the big black do-dad with hoses coming to and from it, also the power steering storage tank, I modified that heavy duty bracket to hold my compressor.
I ran a 3/8 air line to the rear of the Ex, under and up to the A/C and Jack storage area, installed a ball valve, pressure gage and female air chuck disconnect. This is behind the big door.
The air tank is under the passenger side with the Hadley air horns, ran a 3/8 air line to that also. I mounted the air tank to the frame.
I have air bags for my Travel Trailer, I also wanted to have an air supply for general 'stuff'
Works slick, and the air horns are very loud
Take care, Oz. |

Hey Ozzie,
put my QuickAir3 in that compartment in the back. Couldn't see where it would fit up front. Perhaps a bit wider than the Viair. Drilling the holes was a chore, but it gets cool air when used ( only used for tire inflation after 4-wheelin) and stays clean & dry. No tank is used at this time, but may go to one if needs change.
Sounds like you have a sweet setup there!
