I remember as I was younger I saw this often.... I remember back in 92, an officer manage to pull over 3 cars??? damn there good...... As for me I got pull over last month but I got away from the ticket by taking an Online course......

Aircraft speed enforcement. Law enforcement aircraft(usually fixed wing)will identify the speeders to ground units then the cars/motors make the enforcement stops.
In California you'll find 3-7 CHP units on the side of the freeway shoulder getting dispatched to oncoming speeders from overhead CHP aircraft.
I know other states perform similar operations but unsure of who else.

Heyer in Fut Wurth, Texus
I-20 has a series of overpasses that give a perfect vantage point to "shoot" oncoming traffic....
and since there are no exits for a bit after them, they shoot u, call ahead to units, and u get a visit...
have also seen multiples stopped....
cuz "those" speeders run in packs
NOT that I would know anythign about that

Glad my daughter moved closer - I used to FLY up 75
(when no traffic was there )
I always thought a precept of the law was that you had to be "faced by your accuser" in court....
how can one guy shoot you and another give you the ticket ?
the guy writing the ticket may or may not have seen u speeding
NOT that I have to contend with that !!!
I got rid of my radar detector - got more tickets when I used it then when not

2002 coming back from Vegas on route 60 through Wickenburg a cop pulled over 3 of us. I can't explain it in words but he herded us all with his cow horn quite effectively. I thought I was free (lead car) but he managed to continue pulling over the other 2 cars while coming after me.
He was cool though, I was in my 96 Impala - www.azsupersport.com - and commented on how he missed his Caprice compared to his gutless Crown Vic, I told him I was lucky he didn't catch me 50 miles earlier at 150+++...
Luckily it was a $60.00 take a class speeding ticket for the 75 in a 55.

Quite normal here in Toronto for a cop running Lidar to pull over 2,3 or even 4 vehicles.
They also set up on busier roads with about 4 or 5 cops and one or two Lidar units and while one (or two depending on the set up) cop nails the speeders and herds them into the side street (by pointing) the other 2-6 cops write up the cars while on the sidestreet.
