Having been plagued by a strange metal to metal rattle, finally found a culprit in doors. With your rear door open. look at the bumpers on the front door, rear edge. Mine were not even touching the body. After checking, the rear doors do not touch either. I used silicone rubber self adhesive furniture pads or felt pads(Home Depot) to establish contact. Rattle gone. Someone may have a better idea on what to use to establish contact but this FINALLY did the trick. |

My rear passenger driver side door rattles from time to time... Nothing major. I notice I can push it in a little... I'm thinking the striker needs some adjusting....

I've decided that Xochi was in cahoots with the gas stations to rid me of my bank account. I still and love her.

Check your bumpers. I had to go to the body shop to get them to adjust a striker. They had to order a new one and drill out the old one. They moved it in to reduce the amount you could push the door in. All I got for my trouble was a place the size of the end of a ballpoint pen where there was metal to metal contact on the rear rdge of the door with the frame. |
