I ordered this from Black Cloud Diesel, They are the only ones who offer it for the new style lights. WOW what a difference, Ford could learn a thing or two from this upgrade. I also swapped out the bulbs in the fogs for some 9005's. Now the fog lights actually work.

Note sure if ths would be a pain or not? But is there anyway to leave one headlight and foglamp on either side stock and post pics from inside and outside the cab so we can see the difference this makes? If not its cool, it looks to be only $100 with bulbs and high/lo beam option. Thanks for the idea!  |

charles,
someone actually did take pics like that a while back.... will look for it and let ya know...
in fact, I did one side of mine and stepped back that night just to compare and it IS quite a difference... then finished the other side the next day....
IIRC, there is like a 2 volt drop across the stock harness that you get back with the direct connect harness....THAT alone is worth the effort and price....
then if ya want to upgrade the bulbs you can for even better performance...
putting 9005's in the stock fogs is great if you want to convert them to more of a wide, flat, drving light !
but many have reported that brighter bulbs in real fog is NOT the way to go...
too much reflection if you get in real fog....
but down heyer in Texus - I don't recall EVER seeing fog
