I have beening looking a Fabtech 4"lift kits ( the basic one) for my 2005 Excursion. Has anyone had one of these kits installed or used their springs and blocks.
I am tired ( even though I've only got 1200 miles) of looking at the droupy rear-end and this looked like a decent solution.
I have seen lots of infomration on 4wd drive lifts on this site using factory leaf springs but the 2wd has coil fronts and leaf rears. Any suggestions?
John I don't recall if you have a 4x2 or 4x4 Excursion.
The rear springs broke in after the first few tows and was looking a little low so we slapped on a set of F350 blocks which raised the rear up about 1.75" over the stock blocks which brought it back to a more natural rake

Hi Bill,
I have a 2 wheel drive ( damn ford you have to make more 4x4's) . What I was hoping to do, is have a similar profile ( height wise) to a F-250 4x4 or at least more than all of those Suburbans out there..
