I had the lower door trim on my X come loose. Found a very easy and cheap fix. Contact cement, the type that would be used for making laminate counter tops. Just wipe the door and the no longer sticking adhesive pad with rubbing alcohol and then wipe the contact adhesive on to BOTH surfaces. Let dry for about 10 min and then lightly clamp together for about 10min. Did this two weeks ago, has held up to water and heat very well, fix was less than $2.00.

Almost sounds like you used Goop there James

Stuff comes in very handy for repairs and it doesn't cost much either
