Okay, cleaned my engine lastnight and it looks beautiful The problem is that I now have a missfire and a ses light . I know it is a missfire because a friends friends friend scanned it for me this morning and told me 4 cylinders are missfiring. Said to run some gas-dry through it and give it a tank to clean-up, which he suspects it will. I'll probably lift the coils tonight and try to dry them out on my own to hurry-up the return to normal. Question - will the ses light go out when the missfires are cured, or does the ses need to be reset manually? Thanks, Andy. |

Make sure all coils and spark plug wires are dry, properly, securely connected.
Examine all wiring harnesses and connectors for damaged, burned or overheated insulation and loose or broken conditions as a pressure washer has the ability to knock connections apart.
To clear the SES indicator I've disconnected the batteries for about 20 minutes but that was on the Diesel, not sure if it would work the same for the V10 but may be worth trying if you have a code scanner to clear the error code/s.
