hello, Nice to see another excursion from Oklahoma.
I have an extra set of tow mirrors that are powered and heated if you want.... I had them on for 2 weeks before i bought me some tow mirrors with LEDs for my 2000 Excursion....
you'll made need a wiring adapter kit because I had to use a adapter kit for the square plugin to changed into the rounded type plugin. if you want too, E-mail me and I'll tell how much I'll sell them for. Oh and Silverstars headlight and foglights are the only way too go
Ya oklahoma don't need a front license plate bracket but you can add anything you want to it

I've decided that Xochi was in cahoots with the gas stations to rid me of my bank account. I still and love her.

| Quote: | Doesn't look like anyone commented on the install procedure for ya Curtis. It should be just like my buddy's F250. Open the door and remove the three rubber plugs on the inside. That'll give you access to the nuts. Careful taking them off, if they drop down in the door you just opened up a can 'o worms That's it. Remove all three of them and the mirror will come right off. Good luck |
The mirror came right off the door, but so far I can't figure out how to get to the electrical plug... It seems to go way down into the door.
Any tips? Do I have to take off the whole door panel?
Thanks.

Curtis,to access the mirror harness plug the door panel must come off but it's quite easy. Here's a LINK to remove the panel/s.Once the panel is off then on the forward top part of the watershield, the plug should be right there inside the door frame.
I had the door panel off on our Excursion late last month when we were replacing the passengers side mirror assembly.
What the harness connector should look like.
A photo of the watershield. The plugs are for the Power Window/Locks.
